The name of this design edition refers to the pen’s special lacquer finish. The lacquer is carefully applied by hand and precisely sealed, creating striking colour effects along the pen’s characteristic hexagonal silhouette, its tapered tip, and the signature twist cap. This meticulous craftsmanship gives the Gradient Edition its unique dual-tone aesthetic, highlighting individuality and superior quality. The process gives these writing instruments their unique look, as no two pens are alike: each Drehgriffel is unique!
